Harlem Baden Phase IV
M3 Engineering Group is part of the team that is designing a solution for combined sewer backups and flooding in North St. Louis, within MSD’s Bissell Point sewershed near Clara and Greer Avenues. The project is estimated to cost $28M in construction and will include “soft separation” of 26,000 feet of sewers and storage of approximately 300 acres of runoff into a new 2.4 million cubic foot detention basin. M3 Engineering’s role includes developing the rainfall calibration templates and XP-SWMM hydrologic model, assisting with development of the GIS database and alignment alternatives, and QA/QC for detention basin design and water quality impacts.
